Flower tower is the first public art work of Dale Chihuly in Taiwan. Chihuly is a internationally well-known artist glass Sculptur, leading the development of art of delicate sculpture and glass blowing.
As an extension of his classic 'Garden Cosmos' series, this work symbolizes prosperity of the Hsinchu Science Park as flower blossom, portraying the scenery of flower season under splendid sunshine. This work is a metaphor of 'blossom' signifying vibrant atmosphere of the science park, welcoming the guests from all over the world. |
