| This artwork structure takes the spiraled, swirling, repetitive and continuous characteristics of DNA, and develops them into a flower-like appearance to portray the sustaining effects and potent benefits of biotechnology towards the earth, humanity, and life. The development of biotechnology is as magnificent and beautiful as a flower in full bloom. This stainless steel sculpture placed at the entrance of the biotechnology building uses 6 mathematical symbols denoting infinity ‘∞’ to imply the infinite relationship between life and genetics, and that biotechnology is the pulse within, continuing to develop and perform as it is nourished by life. |
