| 'Shizishou'. a movement in Tai-Chi, with hands horizontal and body straight, represents return to original static state from dynamic state in a simple and sleek form. Ju, Ming also applied his swift carving skills with electric saw to add some rough lines on the chest of the sculpture, implying the image of a collar. This maneuver not only brings variety to the form, but also casts a strong visual impact on the viewers, which leads the focus on higher part of the sculpture, conveying the sublime quality with its stable image. |
