In 2022, one company was approved to invest NT$90 million in the development of 5G core network software and services.
Major Investment Projects
1. ProAsia Semiconductor Corp. building a new plant in the Hsinchu Park
Meant for the development of epitaxy and semiconductor components, this NT$3 billion new plant is expected to create 200 jobs.
2. Bora Pharmaceuticals building a new plant in the Hsinchu Biomedical Science Park
Meant for the development of monoclonal antibody biosimilars and biopharmaceutical CDMO, this NT$1.68 billion new plant is expected to create 215 jobs.
3. Msscorps Co., Ltd. building a new plant in the Hsinchu Park
Expected to create 42 jobs, this NT$466 million new plant will focus on analytical services for wafer and IC-related materials and malfunctions.
4. TXOne Networks Inc. building a new plant in the Hsinchu Park
This NT$600 million new plant, intended for the development and services of total solutions for industrial control and production-line cybersecurity, is expected to create 210 jobs.
5. Hansol Chemical Co., Ltd. building a new plant in the Tongluo Park
This NT$576 million new plant, designed for the R&D and production of SiOx and SiNx precursors, is expected to create 21 jobs.

Innodisk Corp. breaking ground for its Phase II plant in the Yilan Park
This NT$580 million new plant, designed for the development and production of flash memory and 5G networking devices and servers, is expected to be ready for mass production in the fourth quarter of 2023 and create some 190 jobs.
Ardentec Corp. breaking ground for a new plant in the Longtan Park
This NT$1.6 billion new plant, designed for developing SiP testing technologies and services, is expected to be completed by the end of 2024 and create some 700 jobs.
Super Energy Materials, Inc. breaking ground for a new plant in the Longtan Park
This NT$1 billion new plant, due to be completed by the end of 2023, will focus on the production of electronic grade SiN.
10. VisEra Technologies Co., Ltd. inaugurating a new plant in the Longtan Park
This NT$15 billion new plant will introduce smart manufacturing and provide technologies and capacities for making advanced image sensors and micro-optical components.
11. Fox Automation Technology Inc. inaugurating a second plant in the Jhunan Park
With some 400 jobs created, this NT$2.4 billion new plant is meant for the R&D and production of key chipmaking consumables and modules.
12. PharmaEssentia Corp. breaking ground for a new plant in the Hsinchu Biomedical Science Park
Under this NT$5.1 billion project, a new plant designed for biomanufacturing of Ropeginterferon alfa-2b (Ropeg/P1101) is due to be completed in 2025 and generate annual revenue of NT$40 billion.
