3. In October 2022, HSPB Director-General Wayne Wang attended ASPA’s annual conference in Jeju, Korea to engage in exchanges with his counterparts from other science parks of the region. The October 31-November 2 conference reviewed how ASPA had performed and adopted goals for the future. Under the theme of “The Future of Science Parks in the Post-Corona Era,” speakers from member countries brought their respective perspectives and insights. In his capacity as ASPA president, Director-General Wang also gave welcoming remarks and a keynote address.

4. In October 2022, HSPB Director-General Wayne Wang also traveled to Japan for the anniversary celebration of the HSP’s sister park Kitakyushu Science and Research Park (KSRP). Also on his itinerary were visits to incubation entities, Compass Kokura, Gymlabo, ATOMica, and a next-generation energy park featuring carbon reduction and other energy concerns, as well as attendance at a forum on next-generation semiconductors and innovation fostering.
