Innovate to Rise Above Competition
Taking a forward-looking approach, the HSPB has zoomed in to industries that may apply precision health and smart medicine technologies in the post-pandemic era. In addition to building on longtime strengths in the ICT industry and integrating cross-sector biomedical capabilities, the HSPB is proactive to further enhance Taiwan’s overall competitiveness by taking companies to major international exhibitions and signing MoUs on cooperation in various fields. Moreover, the HSPB makes it a point to maximize the local technology industry’s cluster effect by expanding HSP parks and helping tenant companies implement production expansion and capital increases. Likewise, the HSPB places emphasis on pooling resources across government, industry, and academia to foster startups, bolster innovative R&D and talent cultivation, strike a balance between environmental and industrial concerns, build a symbiotic mechanism for cross-sector collaboration, and create new value unique to science parks.
