The Hsinchu Science Park has registered annual
sales in excess of US$35 billion for 10 straight
years mainly on the back of the semiconductor
industry’s taking root and forming a formidable 4 cluster effect over the course of nearly four
decades. For the visual identity of its 2019 annual
report, “An Infinite World of Wafers,” represented 5 by two overlapping wafers, is thus adopted to
illustrate how the IC industry has spawned the
innovative R&D and upgrade of other technology
industries in general. The era of 5G is approaching
and AIoT applications are about to take off. A new
wealth of smart applications will soon be unlocked,
thereby bringing about another wave of paradigm
shifts across the technology sector and countless
opportunities in the process.
