Given the HSP’s rigorous development, tenant companies increasingly need more land and plants. In 2019, emphasis was thus placed on promoting the Baoshan expansion project and making preparations for the X project. Likewise, construction started as scheduled on new phase 2 standard plants in the Hsinchu Park and phase 2 standard plants in the Yilan Park. Other highlights for the year were the introduction of additional e-services and measures meant to stabilize water, power, and gas supplies. All these were part of the HSPB’s endeavors to provide tenant companies with better-rounded services and make a quality investment environment conducive to the national economy.
