A new cluster for ventures across the optoelectronics industry chain
What was originally a privately developed industrial park was taken over for redevelopment in January 2004. It is now being developed as a self-sufficient cluster of optoelectronics and solar power ventures, thereby promoting the transformation of local industry. Also to be included will be biotechnology, semiconductor, and smart mobile device ventures that promise to bring higher added value.

A brand-new smart park with local characteristics
Drawing on Yilan’s wealth of cultural and geographic features, the park is geared toward accommodating emerging ventures that specialize in telecommunications knowledge services and digital creativity. Also to be introduced for mass production in the days ahead will be ventures that can meet the future trend in smart applications, thereby helping industry in Yilan and eastern Taiwan move up another rung.
