Conference Highlights On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we would like to extend our warmest welcome to you to attend the “The 23rd Annual Conference of Asian Science Park Association (ASPA 2019)”, which is held on November 11‐13, 2019 in Ambassador Hotel Hsinchu, Taiwan.

Continuing from the success of the 2009 ASPA‐IASP conference, this year we will bring together more renowned speakers and experts and the scientific program will be more in‐depth and enriched. Hsinchu Science Park –
The Innovation Powerhouse That Realizes Your Dream as An Entrepreneur

Since its establishment in 1980, Hsinchu Science Park (HSP) endeavored to establish a sound environment for high-tech development in Taiwan. HSP has focused both on research and high-end production. By the end of 2018, a total of 1,375 hectares had been developed, which has been home to 512 high-tech companies of Semiconductors, Pc & Peripherals, Telecommunications, Optoelectronics, Precision Machinery and Biotechnology. HSP has strong a link with Silicon Valley since it started, and after 38 years development, HSP not only becomes the power house of national economic development, but also an important partner in global high-tech supply chain.

HSP makes joint efforts with prestigious universities and surrounding institutes, including National Taiwan University, Tsing Hua University, Chiao Tung University, Yang-Ming University, Industrial Technology Research Institute, and National Applied Research Laboratories, to provide the park with abundant human resources as well as comprehensive support for personnel training and technological development.
