Confronted with ever-growing competition across the world’s fast-changing technology industry and the fallout from the U.S.-China trade war, the HSP stood firm in its commitment to promoting innovation and making a quality investment environment so as to help tenant companies stay on growth track and stay competitive. Standing by the principle of “taking root in the HSP and securing a global presence,” the HSPB redoubled efforts in 2019 to solicit investment in the Yilan Park to turn it into a cluster of innovative ventures geared toward smart applications. Meanwhile, it helped with tenant companies’ overseas push and expansion to further consolidate their international standing. As such, the HSPB persisted with enabling Taiwan to undertake economic transformation and sail into a “new blue ocean.”
